Eligibility Criteria

Examination Pattern

GLA Online University uses an evaluation system that assesses learner knowledge and skills through external and internal assessments. Internal assessment is 30 out of the total evaluation marks and consists of assignments, quizzes and/or module assessments, while 70 marks are assigned to Examinations at the end of the term. As a total evaluation, the examination is out of 100 marks. Every student must score at least 40% to pass the course. However, it is essential to understand that one cannot be said to have completely passed a subject until both the internal and external evaluations are cleared. The internal assessment may be confined to MCQ items, while external grouping will include these items and descriptive questions. In case any internal assessment has to be missed, the learner can ‘buy back’ the opportunity to submit assignments in exchange for a charge; however, submitting assignments is not possible if an external examination is missed. GLA students are required to complete a 3-hour external exam and attend hundreds of live classes with the possibility of checking recorded sessions. Such a well-structured arrangement assists in maintaining academic quality and ensures effective student learning.
